Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility at the Stennis Space Center, MS intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Teledyne R D Instruments, Inc. CA to replace inventory of Workhorse Rio Grande rapid sampling sensors and interfacing supporting equipment. The requested equipment is needed to re-stock the HIF warehouse which supports mission requirements of USGS and other Federal Agencies nationwide. Since this equipment is correlated between many agencies, it is necessary to maintain the same equipment to ensure continuity of data recovery. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about June 19, 2007 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
