- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) on behalf of the Naval Opthalmic Support and Training Activity (NOSTRA) is attempting to identify potential sources for a Lens Analyzer. NOSTRA previously utilized the Zeiss Humphrey Model 360 Lens Analyzer, however, the Model 360 Lens Analyzer is no longer being manufactured. The minimum requirements for the Lens Analyzer system are as follows: automatic distance measurement, PAL detection, automatic right/left lens detection. It should have help menus to enable the operator to obtain accurate lens prescriptions. The system should accurately transmit prescription data via communication ports. Must have software with routine updates that keep the lens analyzer current for use with the newest lens materials as well as new software applications. Any proposed Lens Analyzer, and all of it?s components, shall be compliant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements to market and deliver medical products for use in the United States of America. Please provide pertinent technical literature on proposed Lens Analyzer to show how your product will meet the minimum requirements. Also, please provide any available pricing information for proposed Lens Analyzer.
