- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to procure, on a sole-source basis, an extension of the period of performance to contract N68936-04-D-0033 a Time and Materials, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for contractor services instructing and training Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the H-60 Avionics systems (including navigation, communications, Identification Friend or Foe, Electronic Warfare systems, Acoustic Antisubmarine Warfare Equipment, Dipping Sonar System, Electronic Countermeasures Equipment, Internal Self Defense, Controls and Displays, Data Handling, multimode radar systems and electronic support measures. A follow-on solicitation is in progress and has been synopsized (N68936-07-R-0015). The extension will be through 30 September 2007 to allow for completion of the procurement of the follow-on solicitation. The modification will be issued to: Lockheed Martin Systems Integration- Owego, 1801 State Route 17C, Owego, NY 13827-3998. Lockheed Martin is uniquely qualified as the original developer of the avionics systems and holds proprietary data rights.
