- Description
- In a new effort, the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to procure Research Management Services for the Medical Education Directorate Clinical Investigation Department at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland (NNMC). NNMC is requiring all contract Research Managers to possess a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) or combination M.D./Ph.D in a medical or biologic field from an accredited academic institution. They are to facilitate and advise NNMC on all departmental research activities, ensure appropriate tracking of all research activities, and provide a report of where each research proposal stands with regard to formulation, submission, approval, implementation and completion. The proposed procurement is being processed as a Small Business Set-Aside. The Period of Performance is from 01 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 plus four one year options ending 30 September 2012, if all options are exercised. Our intent is to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 12.5 and FAR13. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release to www.neco.navy.mil. The applicable NAICS code is 541710.
