- Description
- In support of the U.S. Fleet Activities, Sasebo, Japan and LSD-46 the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is soliciting for a Class B Overhaul of RIX 2JS2B-150B Low Pressure Air Compressor. This acquisition is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with OEM RIX Industries or an authorized sub-contractor per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates the award of a noncommercial time and materials type service contract in accordance with FAR part 15. All work is to be performed at U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility detachment Sasebo, Japan. The electronic submission of proposals is not available at this time.
