- The Marine Corps Systems Command is conducting a market survey to determine industry capabilities in providing a concealable video system comprised of commercial off the shelf components, which is capable of being rapidly employed in a tactical environment. The System must be capable of operating in environments of extreme temperatures in excess of 150 degrees, rainy environments and be resistant to environmental conditions such as sand storms. The system should be comprised of a digital network of computers, digital radio transmitters, receivers, cameras, and sensors. The system should operate on commercial Intranet Protocol (IP) radios and be capable of carrying up to 12 separate high quality signals simultaneously. The concealable video system will be used to conduct remote video surveillance and monitoring of areas of interest on the battlefield. Standard military batteries in the BA/BB series either chargeable or non-chargeable should power the systems. The concea lable video system?s networked devices should be remotely managed and operated allowing for ease of setup and operation with in one hour. The systems should not operate on or utilize proprietary software. The systems software should be compatible with windows media player or QuickTime for windows. The concealable video system should have a low power consumption rate, which will enable concealment and extended duration of employment. Interested parties should submit capabilities and experience descriptions, design approaches, design concepts and any other relevant information to Marine Corps Systems Command. Interested parties should also submit business size information. This information shall be submitted no later than 25 June 2007 to the attention of Susanne Breeden at Marine Corps Systems Command, ATTN: CT0271SB, 2200 Lester Street, Quantico Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA 22134.
