- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, a single contract for Family and Consumer Sciences textbooks. The Solicitation Number is HE1254-07-R-1021 and is issued as an unrestricted request for proposal (RFP). This action incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-17, and DCN 20070531. DoDEA is a Federal Government agency, an education activity, and tax exempt. DoDEA supports military dependent schools both stateside and overseas. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. Interested businesses may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal. Offerors shall submit their offers in accordance with the submission instructions contained in the solicitation by 12:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Friday, July 13, 2007. Only proposals received within the response timeframe will be considered by the government. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all of its supporting documents, and any applicable amendments posted on Federal Business Opportunities at ttp://www.FedBizOpps.gov. Amendments may be posted to FedBizOpps up until the response due date. All requests for clarification must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Contract Specialist, Matt Schulz, at: matthew.schulz@hq.dodea.edu by Friday, July 6, 2007.
