NOUN: Housing, Antifriction NSN: 2840-01-173-5492JF, P/N: 9550M25G01, applicable to F101-102 Engine. Dim: 22.635 inches dia. and approx 7.000 inches long. Matl: AMS 4911. Located at bearing support no. 21 oil nozzle for oil supply, 1 nozzle for seal drain, 1 nozzle for air passage, 51 holes pressure test oil passage per AMS 2615. Function: Attaches inside no. 2 bearing support housing for speed sensor to mount to. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-9013, FB2039, FOB Origin. First Article Government Tests may apply. Quantity: 37ea (Min: 18, Max: 56). Delivery: On or before 30 Jul 2009. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 7 Mar 2007. Response to the solicitation will be due 6 Apr 2007. The anticipated award date will be 14 May 2007. Only qualified sources may apply. The following sources has been qualified for this acquisition: General Electric (Cage Code: 07482), Cincinnati, OH 45215-1988; ABA Ind Inc. (Cage Code: 26795), Cincinnati, OH 45246-1208. Qualified sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Due to the complexity and criticality of the parts, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items can be considered for approved sources for this item. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 October 1984, and this item qualifies under FAR 9.206-1(a)(2) and the requirements of FAR 9.202(a) are not applicable. Award will not be withheld awaiting qualification. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
