- Description
- This performance-based service contract consists of road reclamation of approximately 9.4 miles on three roads on the Glacier View Ranger District, Flathead National Forest, Flathead County, Montana. Items of work include determining stake locations that coincide with the road logs; construction of road closure earth berms and waterbars; removal and disposal of culverts; and seeding and fertilizing of worksites including use of straw mulch at each site. Additionally, importation and spreading of riprap is required at most of the culvert removal sites. All culvert removal and stream restoration sites require erosion control blankets and straw wattles. A Prebid Tour date will be announced in the solicitation package and attendance is strongly recommended. The estimated start work date is August 1, 2007. The work is to be completed by October 31, 2007. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 29, 2007, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
