Description

This solicitation is currently projected for a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Interested 8(a), HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns interested in submitting offers for this solicitation should contact Linda Ford (626)574-5242 for consideration of further set-aside actions under one of these socially-economic programs. Contact must be made prior to the expiration of this 15-day synopsis. The solicitation will provide the final set-aside determination. This project is for roller crush standing brush along both sides of the road. Vegetation is Manzanita (2-5'), Scrub Oak (6-10') and Ceanothus (6-8'). Project length is approximately 3 miles of crushing. A Sideboom tractor with a winch cable of 150-200 feet and a Grid Roller attached is the preferred method as it leaves very minimal ground disturbance. Approximately start date is November 1, 2007. Contract time is 180 calendar days. Government estimate is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS 115310. SBA Size Standard $6.5 million. Contractors must be registered with Central Contractors Registry BEFORE an award can be made. Registration can be done online @http://www.ccr.gov.
