- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), has a requirement for gases, and maintenance and repair of Government-owned cylinders for the NIST storeroom. The period of performance for the base year shall be one (1) year from date of award plus four (4) option years. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. This requirement is being procured using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR Parts 12 and 13. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325120 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement will be 100 percent set-aside for small business. The non-manufacturer rule has been waived for the above referenced NAICS code. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, subsequent amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-07-RQ-0238. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about June 21, 2007, and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
