- Description
- The VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pa. seeks to provide local echocardiogram interpretation services for our veterans. The interpretations will be performed at the contractor's facility. Services will include, but are not limited to: The complete performance of the professional aspects of the echocardiogram procedures. This includes providing all supplies, equipment, personnel, and services necessary to interpret echocardiogram studies for the Coatesville VA Medical Center. VCR tapes containing the echocardiogram studies will be delivered to the contractor. The contractor shall provide a typewritten report to the Coatesville Diagnostic Services- Radiology Section within 36 hours of receiving the tape with the echocardiogram study. All tapes will be returned to the Coatesville VA Medical Center along with the original, signed echocardiogram reports. All echocardiogram reports will become the property of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Routine Echocardiogram interpretation results should be returned to the Coatesville VA Medical Center within 36 hours of receiving the VCR tape of the study. Urgent/STAT Echocardiogram interpretation wet-read results are called to the ordering provider within four hours of VCR delivery; hard copy results should be returned within 24 hours of receiving the VCR tape of the study. Professional services required: Doppler echocardiography, pulsed wave and/or continuous wave with spectral display, CPT 93320-26. Doppler echocardiography color flow velocity mapping, CPT 93325-26. Echocardiography, transthoracic, real-time with image documentation (2D) with or without M-mode recording; complete, CPT 93307-26.
