- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure on a sole source basis one (1) ClarusTM C Bioquell Gas Generator (US Format) with the following ancillary equipment: 1 ClarusTM Spare Parts Kit; 1 Gas Distribution Nozzle; 2 Distribution Pipework; 1 Tripod Arrangement; 1 Wall Interface Plate with dust caps & ball valves; 2 Hose Support Assemblies, Additional 30 ft control cable, and 1 ClarusTM rear nozzle mount assembly. The following are also required: 1 Remote Control Interfa ce HMI and 30 ft control cable; 1 day Site Acceptance Test (SAT); documentation and associated test equipment for stand alone ClarusTM gas Generator and gas distribution system; 2 day operator Training Sessions for BSL-3 lab and test chamber on 2 separate trips with travel and associated subsistence included; Room Bio-decontamination. In addition to the above, the Generator must have the following items: 1 R2 Aeration Arrangement; 1 R20 Aeration unit Biological Safety Cabinet decon kit; Test Material Consumables; 1 Hand Held Low Level Gas Generation Sensor Gas detection equipment which offers security and safety by providing instant readings. The vendor must provide standard documentation pack that includes off-load instructions, operators manuals, service data etc. It must also include packing and crating materials, customs paperwork, and site delivery. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification C ode (NAICS) is 541710 which has a size standard of 500 employees. This procurement will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized as outlined in FAR Part 13. The Government requires ClarusTM C gas Generator because of the following salient requirements: (1) The weight must be 350 lbs or less. (2) The dimensions must be no greater than 28" W x 37" L. (3) The electrical requirements must not exceed 120 volts and 15 amps. (4) The system must be capable of decontaminating a variety of sealed enclosures ranging from 50 cubic feet to 10,000 cubic feet. (5) The Generator must be able to be hooded up to a permanently installed wall plate via hoses for space decontamination from outside the contaminated space. (6) The system must include a separate aeration unit to reduce cycle degassing time.
