- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The following is a synopsis prepared in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemental information included in this notice. The quotation number is N00178-07-Q-1213 and is a request for quotation. This announcement constitutes the only quotation being issued. A written quotation will not be issued. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capability with their fax quote at (540) 653-7088 or emailed quote to dlgr_nswc_xds11@navy.mil and shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren VA 22448-5110. All offerors must be advised that they must be active in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov before award can be made. The Government intends to procure, on a full and open competition basis, the following; Qty 25 Display Milling in accordance with drawing package FF rev 2.2 as attachment (1) and may be viewed on our homepage at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. One unanodized first article shall be delivered to the Government for review. Upon approval of the first article, the remaining 24 units shall be built and all 25 units will be anodizing. The order shall be a firm fixed price order. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall apply to this acquisition. Delivery shall be made no later than 12 weeks ADC to NAVSEA CDSA Dam Neck, 1922 Regulus Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097 FOB Destination Shall apply. Award shall be made on the basis of best value to the Government - ability to meet the delivery date, price, and past performance. Offer is due 22 June 2007 no later than 2 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, Attn: Contracts Branch XDS117, 17632Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren VA 22448-5110, with faxed copies acceptable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, the synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
