- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Marshall Engineering, Technicians and Trades Services Contract, Solicitation No. NNM08125357R, which was posted on April 06, 2007. You are notified that the following changes are made: NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) to seek industry comments for the Marshall Engineering, Technicians and Trades Services (METTS) procurement. The anticipated release date of the DRFP is on or about June 20, 2007 with industry comments due approximately 16 days after the release of the DRFP. An Industry Briefing, including site tours, will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST. The briefing will be held at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama in Building 4200, 10th Floor, Room P110. There is a limit of 5 attendees per company. Foreign nationals will not be admitted. To facilitate security clearances and badging for your participants, please contact Kimberly Carson via e-mail at kimberly.s.carson@nasa.gov no later than 12:00 noon CST on Wednesday June 27, 2007 with the following information: full name of each participant, company name, position in company, driver's license number and state of issuance, and citizenship. Additional details regarding the industry briefing will be in the DRFP. After the industry briefing and the comment period, a Final RFP (FRFP) will be issued. All responsible sources may submit an offer to the FRFP which shall be considered by the agency. Please note that the points of contract for this solicitation have been revised. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/MSFC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=62 It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
