Description

FURNISH & INSTALL RETROFIT TO MCQUAY CHILLER: Under authority 41 U.S.C. 253©(1), the Government intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with McQuay International, Orlando, FL, to retrofit a Model ALS300A Screw-type, Chilled Water, 4 circuit, 260 ton, McQuay Rooftop Chiller with a Condenser Enhancement Kit and Soft Start Kit (CEK/SSK) to increase reliability and reduce our operating costs, at the NF/SG VHS in Gainesville, FL. NAICS code 333415 applies to this procurement. This contract action is for a modification to existing equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 (b) (4) only one responsible source and no other equipment or training will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquistion Procedures of FAR Part 13 in accordance with the Commercial Item Acquisition Format of FAR Part 12. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to this requirement or to submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before June 22, 2007, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
