- Description
- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a Contractor to furnish all management, supervision, labor, all facilities, utilities, equipment, tools, lubricants, fuels, hazardous waste removal, materials and articles necessary to drydock, repair, and coat the hull of Crane Barge CE-769. Crane Barge CE-796 is all welded steel, double rake deck barge, 120 feet long, 42 feet wide, and 7 feet 2.5 inches deep. Constructed in 1958, the hull has a deckhouse, and is equipped with tim ber deck mats, spud-wells, and diesel-powered cable winches. The displacement is 786 long tons. The light draft without the crane is approximately 2 feet. Solicitation W912P8-07-R-0108 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be available on or about June 21, 2007. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. This solicitation is unrestricted. Quotes are due on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 3:30 CST.
