Description
MARKET SURVEY/SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District has an upcoming project for Construction Management Services (CMS) on Civil, Military and Environmental construction projects in the Washington, Oregon, Idaho and M ontana areas. The majority of services required will include, but are not limited to, Quality Assurance and Construction Oversight Work. Projects will vary in dollar value and may range from several thousand dollars to one-hundred million dollars. Servi ces will be requested on an as-needed basis, dependent on the level of construction workload and availability of internal resources. Requested services may vary in nature and duration. Contractor(s) will work under the direction of the Local Resident Off ice Team Leader/Contracting Officers Representative for the administration of the construction contract. The CMS work may consist of the following disciplines and skills, but are not limited to: Licensed Project Engineer, Construction Representative, Eng ineering Technician, Quality Assurance Representative, Construction Engineer, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Architectural Engineer, Architect, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Industrial Hygienist, Geotechnical Engin eer, Geologist, Clerical, and Scheduler (primavera proficiency required). At present the Government is considering an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base plus four years. This announcement serves only as a market surv ey/sources sought in order to determine the interest and availability of small business concerns. Responses are being sought from qualified 8(a) firms, HUBZone firms, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned firms capable of providing the required services. Th e NAICS code for this project is 541990, Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. Interested firms must provide (1) verifiable evidence of experienced and licensed personnel to meet the Governments requirements for this contract, in addition to , (2) in accordance with FAR 52.219-14 Limitation on Subcontracting (Services), provide evidence of your firms capability to perform at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel.
