Description

The work consist of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, transportation, supplies and materials required to perform dredging beach fill from three borrow areas located approximately 3 miles offshore of Myrtle Beach and placement of material on app roximately 25 miles of beach at Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach and Garden City Beach, South Carolina. The work includes before and after surveys of the beach area and pre-dredge and post dredge surveys of the borrow areas. Approximately 3,000,000 cubic y ards of material is to be placed. The work is located in Georgetown and Horry Counties, South Carolina. MAGNITUDE OF WORK is $25,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, dow nloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Offerors must register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) (https://www.fedteds.gov/) to view or download the soli citation documents. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the website for notices and amendments. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award of a contract. The solicitation will be posted on or about 10 July 2007 with proposals due on or about 9 August 2007.
