- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is E004944 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 443120 with a small business size standard of $8 million. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. The deadline for submitting quotes is Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 1:00 PM EST. The FBI intends to purchase ninety-five (95) each of the following items: Chenbro 2U Server with the following specifications and integrations. Specifications: 1) Chenbro RM22300-300 Chassis (1PC); 2) Supermicro P8SCT m/b (1PC); 3) Intel P4 3.2GHz 800FSB/1M (1PC); 4) KVR400D2E3/512 (2PCs); 5) 80GB SATA HD (2PCs); 6)ARC2-790 2U Riser Card (1PC); 7) Panasonic FDD (1PC); 8) Lite On 48x CD-ROM (1PC); 9)Supermicro CPU Heatsink (1PC); Integrated: 1)SATA RAID 0,1; 2)Server Quality Graphics; 3)Dual Gigabit LANS. A One Year Warranty shall also be included on all of the above. Note: This is the FBI?s minimum requirement. Equipment must meet this requirement since it will be used as replacement parts for the same equipment. F.O.B. Destination is Quantico, VA. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability and price. Technical capability is more important than price. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items. Company shall be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them.
