- The Bureau of Reclamation Pacific Northwest Region in Boise Idaho has a requirement for a used 10 yard dump truck . The truck will be used to enhance the Truck Driving Program at Fort Simcoe Job Corps in White Swan, WA. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 12.6, as supplemented in accordance with the format included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued 07SQ108030; and proposals (including the completed FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, if not registered in ORCA) are due on June 25, 2007 11:00 AM. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-17. This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 441229, the small business standard for this code is $ 6.5 M. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about June 26, 2007, that is most advantageous and of best value to the Government. THE REQUIREMENT: One Dump Truck as good as or better than 2001 Peterbilt model 379 with the following specifications: 1) Dump Box Specifications: Double side wall construction 3/16 T-I floor, with air gate and air shift PTO. Tower controls and equipped for pup, 2) Engine Specifications: Cummins ISM or better, with jake brake, 330/370 horsepower, 3) Transmission: RTLO1360B Super 10 or better, 3) Weight Rating: No less than 40,000, 4) Rear Suspension: Pete Air Leaf or better, 4) Wheel Base: Approximately 220", 5) Number of axles: Three, 6) Cab Options: Air Conditioning, heated mirrors, tilt telescoping steering. Truck will be inspected upon delivery.
