- GSA Property Development Region 8 (8PF) Solicitation No. GS-08P-07-JFC-0016 - NAICS Code 237990 - In order to clear the site for the new Federal District Courthouse in Salt Lake City, Utah, it is necessary to relocate the historic Oddfellows Building. In addition to the work of actually move the building, the following work items also need to be acquired: Limited seismic retrofitting, as required by the City, repair the roof as necessary to ensure that it's watertight, exterior preservation including repointing brick and sandstone and repaint areas that have been previously painted, reinstall windows, patch, caulk, and paint as needed, repair interior where damage from moving necessitates, extend interior stair to new basement, reinstall exterior rear stair, stub in utilities to basement area, secure and mothball the property, including measures to ventilate and heat the interior, in accordance with NPS Preservation Brief 31, "Mothballing Historic Buildings." ,reproduce entry-bridge that overlooks basement as in existing building, demolish existing basement, remove all concrete/waste from the site, backfill and compact the site and perform site improvements at the relocation site including paving and landscaping. This procurement is open to small and large business concerns. In accordance with 15 USC 631 Et. Seq., the A-E will be required to provide the maximum practical opportunities to Small, small woman-owned, small minority-owned, small HUBZone, small Veteran-Owned, and small Service Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses. Each individual firm will determine the minimum acceptable subcontracting target goals for this project. A small business criterion for each category is based on the contractor?s average annual receipts for the proceeding three fiscal years. Contact your local SBA office for further information. Firms seeking consideration for this contract shall demonstrate a proactive effort to achieve the highest subcontracting goals possible for Small, small woman-owned, small minority-owned, small HUBZone, small Veteran-Owned, and small Service Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses.
