Description

SUB-CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY. ONLY CONTRACTORS PRE-QUALIFIED FOR THIS SOLICITATION MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER. LISTED BELOW ARE THE PRE-QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS FOR THIS PROJECT: BISCAYNE CONTRACTORS, INC., 7898 CRYDEN WAY, FORESTVILLE, MD 20747-4522; EMC MECHANICAL SERVICES, 1802 ELLEN RD., RICHMOND, VA 23230-4511; YORK RIVER ELECTRIC., INC., 3201 OLD WILLIAMSBURG RD., YORKTOWN, VA 23690-3836. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Removal of HVAC chillers, boilers, controls, air handling units, ductwork, and piping. Provision of unitary RTU's, split system gas furnace, condensing pulse boiler, pump, piping, modular air handler, condensing unit, TAB, electronic controls and incidental structural, electrical and architectural work. All work is to be done in accordance with USPS approved plans and specification. This facility is a 24 hour operation, there will be no disruption to postal operations. The estimated construction cost range is between $1,200,000 and $1,500,000. PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING is scheduled Thursday, June 28, 2007 @11:00 am, at the Main Post Office, 29 Franklin St., Petersburg, VA 23803. ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
