Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, quality control, safety prevention, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform selected tree pruning and removal and all related incidental work in accordance with the quote schedule and specifications stated herein. Completion will be required within 25 days after the Date of Award. All work shall be under the direction and general supervision of an Arborist(s) certified by the International society of Arboriculture who possess verifiable experience and technical competence in tree physiology, identification, diagnosis of disorders and current tree care and safety practices in accordance with accepted industry standards. SOLICITATION DETAILS: This is best value procurement open to all responsible small business concerns. Selection for award will be based on a best value determination after considering a firm's prior experience. Award may be made without discussions with offerors. Quotes will be evaluated on quality (past performance, experience, and qualifications of key personnel) and price, with quality and price being equal. The NAICS code for this project is 561730 and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) and attachments will be available via electronic commerce and may be accessed on/about July 6, 2007 at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or directly through the DOI National Business Center site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Facsimile quotations will be accepted. The due date for receipt of offers is July 27, 2007. The Contractor will be responsible for periodically checking the website for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. It is mandatory that all contractors register in the central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and at the www.bpn.gov (Electronic Representations and Certifications) prior to award.
