Description
a. This meeting was to provide information to bidders on moving of computers, files, and other work related items from building 44 to trailers located adjacent to building 4011, Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Question: Will the Marker Boards on wall in conference rooms in the section of APPD be removed and transferred to the trailer locations? Answer: No, the marker boards on walls in conference rooms will not be removed and transferred to trailers locations. Note: There are marker boards located in workstations and these will be identified for the move by customer. Question: Will movers supply boxes? Answer: Yes, movers will supply all boxes, for personnel to box their personal items. Clarification: Movers shall pack and move all work related items identified such file folders, adding machines, equipment which is identified by customers. The customers will box their own personal items, and have the option of letting the movers take the boxed items to designated location or take the boxes themselves. Note the contract will not be held responsible for any damage to personal items. Question: Will movers unpack boxes at each workstation and executive offices? Answer: No, movers will not unpack any boxes, but will ensure they put the boxes in the correct offices and workstation which will be identified by customer. Movers will remove packing materials, when customers unpack boxes. Materials will be placed in a designated area for contractor to pick-up and remove from Ft. Sam Houston Installation. Clarification: There are approx. 40 workstations in APPD section where items from these offices are to be re-located to Trailer A. There are approx. 20 workstations and three executive offices in the CDDD section where items from these offices are to be re-located to Trailer C. These trailers are located adjacent to building 4011, Ft. Sam Houston, TX. The contractor shall provide boxes for move to customer location 48 hours after notification of award. Point of contacts will be furnished to the contractor awarded this requirement. NOTE: Bid closed at 1:00 PM CDT, June 22, 2007. This is Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. All proposals shall be delivered to the SCCR-W Mission Division, 2107 17th Street, bldg 4197, Ft. Sam Houston, TX. 78234 Attn: Roland Jasso 210- 221-5367. b. The follwoing clauses are added - 52.219-9, 52.19-14, 52.219-27 NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-JUN-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
