- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management Systems (FAAMS), the FAA Western-Pacific Region hereby announces its intention to solicit a Request For Offer (RFO) to provide Environmental Monitoring Services for Asbestos Abatement during the FAA's Prime Contractor's contract to provide demolition of the Los Angeles ARTCC (Air Route Traffic Control Center) Wing 1st Floor and attic and Automation Wing 2nd Floor and attic. Criteria: In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management Systems (FAAAMS), the FAA intends to solicit a Request for Offer (RFO). Awards resulting from the RFO will be based on Best Value to the FAA giving consideration to : 1) Offeror's past performance and experience as an Industrial Hygienist monitoring the demolition of structures containing hazardous materials including asbestos abatement and 2) total cost to the FAA. The successful offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, supplies, transportation, services, and other devices n the performance of the monitoring of the Asbestos Abatement. Contractors wanting to receive a Solicitation Package (RFO) must request the Solicitation Package either in writing, facsimile or email. Verbal requests will not be honored. The requests will not be honored. The request for the Solicitation Package RFO must reference/identify the solicitation number. The request for the Solicitation Package RFO must be received no later than the closing date stated below. The Solicitation Package (RFO) will not be issued until the closing date of this announcement to ensure equal response time. Questions may be addressed to Deana Galloway 310-725-7548. The FAA may make an award without communications or negotiations; however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted to determine the best value to the FAA. The FAA also reserves the right to cancel, or terminate this request for Solicitation/RFO at any time before, during or after the closing date. Delivery period XXX days after Notice To Proceed; This is a 2 phase project; (NTP) is dependent on the NTP date for the PRIME demolition Contractor. Please note that this is a Small Disadvantaged Business Set Aside for 8(a) contractors.
