- This procurement is sole source to the original manufacturer (OEM), Parker Hannifin Corp. An indefinite delivery contract is contemplated, a three-year basic plus one, two-year option. PR Number(s): FD20300870035 Item: 0001 NSN: 2915014206883JF SPRAYBAR,AUGMENTOR P/N: 1796M87P02 Description: THE SPARYBAR IS A TITANIUM HOUSING WITH ATTACHED TUBING FOR AUGMENTOR FUEL DELIVERY. FUNCTION: AUGMENTER FUEL IS DISTRIBUTED TO THE AUGMENTER THROUGH 28 CORE SPRAYBARS. THE CONTROL SYSTEM FIRST DELIVERS FUEL TO THE LOCAL SYSTEM, THEN TO THE CORE SYSTEM, AND FINALLY TO THE CORE FUEL SYSTEM. EACH SPRAYBAR CONTAINS A POSITIVE, NO LEAK SHUTOFF FEATURE WHICH PREVENTS FLOW OR LEAKAGE THROUGH THE SPRAYBARS DURING DRY OPERATION. DIMENSIONS: TUBING ASSY 14.87 INCHES LONG W/HOUSING ASSY. 3.0 INCHES LONG - .92 INCHES ON ONE END IRREGULAR SHAPE FLANGE. MATERIAL: TITANIUM PER AMS 4928. BEQ for 3 year basic period is 6,467 ea; Minimum quantity for basic period: 1,617 ea, Maximum quantity for basic period: 8,084 ea. Quantity ranges will be specified in the solicitation. Destn: FB2039,Tinker AFB,OK.,73145-9013. Delivery: 434 days after each individual order. Option Year 1, BEQ 3,467 ea. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
