Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Eight (8) each laptop computers with the following specifications: Core 2 Duo T7200 / 2 GHz; RAM: 1 GB; HD: 100 GB; DVD +/- RW (+r DL) / DVD-RAM; Gigabit Ethernet; WLAN: 802.11a/b/g; Bluetooth 2.0 EDR; TPM; fingerprint reader; Win XP Pro (Vista Capable); 17" Widescreen TFT 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+); PCMCIA Smart Card Reader (Model # SCM Microsystems SCR243); external USB mouse; protective carrying bag. Items require delivery to the place of performance located below. Acceptance and delivery is FOB destination. Expected award date is 23 July 2007. Offers are due NLT 17 July 2007, 1200 hours EDT to the POC listed below. Any questions regarding the above requirement should be submitted in writing via Fax or email to the POC. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items apply. The specific criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision are: 1) technical capability of the item offered to meet the government requirement; 2) price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certification -Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
