- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide Janitorial Building Maintenance Services at the New York Air Route Traffic Control Center, Ronkonkoma, New York. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about October 1, 2007, with four (4) one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide at their expense all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, etc., necessary to perform specified custodial services and subcontractors to provide plumbing and electrical services. All companies submitting a bid must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base or must be before award. The Screening Information Request (SIR)/Solicitation will be a total set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720. All companies submitting a bid on this job must have an active business address and phone number for a minimum of one (1) year prior to award and be within a one hundred (100) mile radius of the FAA Facility located at 4205 Johnson Ave.. Islip MacArthur Airport, Ronkonkoma, New York. This office must be maintained during the entire life of the contract. No Post Office Box addresses will be accepted. Map Quest will be the tool used to determine distance. The SIR will be available on 7/10/07. The SIR is being sent to the Incumbent Contractor All Prestige Management Corp., 4 Marie Ct., Brookhaven, NY 11719. All other companies who meet the above requirements may fax there request to Ms. Catherine De Toma, Fax No. (718) 995-5685, on company letter head showing the address within the one hundred (100) mile radius. All other requests will not be accepted. No phone requests will be accepted. Request for SIR will only be available until 07/16/2007. A mandatory walk-thru and pre-bid conference will be held on July 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Only those companies that have met the above requirements and have received a solicitation package and are on our SIR Mailing List and make an appointment as stated in the SIR will be allowed to attend. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the SIR. Evaluation Criteria include Past Performance, Subcontracting Experience and Financial Capability. The Government will make a single award to the responsible offeror that provides the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "best buy" offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest price offered.
