- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Fort Jackson, SC DOC has a requirement for the following dining facility items: Line Item 0001: Plate 10 inch 3 Compartment (DISPOZ-O part FP10-3-500) Brand Name or Equal, 4000 cases . Line Item 0002: Bowl 6 inch (DISPOZ-O part FB6-1000) Brand Name or Equal, 540 Cases. Line Item 0003: Hinged Container 10 inch 3 Compartment (DISPOZ-O part FHC-10-3-200) Brand Name or Equal, 400 Cases. Line Item 0004: Med. wt. Polypro Items, 13x13 Napk in Wrapped (DISPOZ-O part P2503PCSPMWKIT) Brand Name or Equal, 4,500 Cases. Shipping FOB destination Fort Jackson, SC. We require delivery ARO within 7 days (routine) and delivery ARO within 2 days (emergency). Ensure you comment on your capability to m eet this requirement. This is a Sealed Bid acquisition IAW FAR -- Part 14 Sealed Bidding. All bids must be properly marked and mailed or delivered to DOC, ATTN: Jim Frock, 4340 Magruder Ave., Fort Jackson, SC 29207-6810 by 4:30 PM EST 15 July 2007 . Contract, if awarded, will be a requirements contract for a 2 month base period (anticipated base: 1 Aug 2007 to 30 Sept 2007) and 4 option years. Ensure your bid is for the base plus 4 option years per line item. Payment will be made by GPC. Bidder must accept GPC. The NAICS is: 326140. This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside. Reps and Certs must be complete (ORCA) and the NAICS certification mus t be 326140. However, should less than 2 or more small businesses submit responsive and responsible bids, bids from large businesses will be considered. NOTE: Brand Name or Equal. The Government plans to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive and responsible Bidder whose bid best conforms to the solicitation and which is most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers and are listed in descending order of importance: (1)product (2)p rice (3)delivery. FAR Part 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature states: Descriptive literature is required to establish, for the purpose of evaluation and award, details of the product offered that are specified elsewhere in the solicitation and pertain to s ignificant elements such as--(1) Design; (2) Materials; (3) Components; (4) Performance characteristics; and (5) Methods of manufacture, assembly, construction, or operation.
