Description

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT for Project 200700904, DDC Electrical System at NASJRB Fort Worth (Carswell Field), TX. Work shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, appliance s and material necessary for work that includes but is not limited to the following: Install electrical utility monitoring/metering devices to buildings; 1671, 1672, 1673, 1676 and 4175. No te: Buildings 1676 and 4175 have multi-fed electrical voltage/serv ice lines. Connect all new equipment to existing Direct Digital Control (DDC), Barber Coleman Network 8000 Energy Management System infrastructure and program existing system equipment to pr ovide a complete system. Any government property that is removed and replaced shall be provided to the 136th Civil Engineering Squadron prior to project completion. This project is being solicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis, and subsequent award shall be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (ref. FAR 19.1007(a)(2)). Prior to the opening of bids the government will determine the amou nt of funding available, and once done shall then proceed forth with determining the low offeror in accordance with DFARS 252.236-7007. Award will be mad e to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageou s to the Government, considering only price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210 and the Small Business Size Standa rd is $13,000,000 in average annual receipts for the past three years. Construction project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000 (includes base and additives bid items).
