Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to place Geosynthetic filter fabric and rock riprap on the upstream face of an existing reservoir. The estimated contract quantity is 800 Cubic yards of Riprap. This procurement is a Total Hubzone Small Business Set-Aside. However, all Small Business concerns are encouraged to respond. If a fair and reasonable quote is NOT received by a responsible and responsive Hub-zone Business concern, all quotes received from Small Business concerns will be considered without further notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $31million. Work under this contract is located in Blaine County, Montana. The contractor will have fourty five (45) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about August 27, 2007. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be in the form of one of the following: 1) Irrevocable Letter of Credit; 2) Certificate of Deposit, or 3) Payment Bond. Submission of the payment protection is required within 10 days of award. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Prospective contractors are also encouraged to register their Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov., and Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted on/about July 11, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". A site tour will be scheduled and the exact time and location can be found in the Solicitation. Response date for quotes will be on/about August 9, 2007. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ.
