Description

Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. (ii) Solicitation 601817Q282 is for ninteen each (19) Techniduster BPD Units or approved equal. This requirement for purchase is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14, effective 22 November 2006. (iv) This procurement is being issued under full and open contracting procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325320 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) The Contractor shall provide the following items: LINE ITEM 0001 - Provide 19 each Techniduster BDP Units or Approved Equal. In addition to providing 19 each Techniduster BDP Units or Approved Equal, the Government is also looking for a firm to provide a credit for the return of 8 each Exacticide Dusting Units. Time is of the essence. Please include with your quotation any costs associated with overnight shipping and handeling. Delivery shall be made within 5 days after receiving the award documents. Delivery Location: U.S FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE 19180 I-25 Access Road Carr, CO 80612 (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items and 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items apply. Evaluation will be based on price. To be included in the price competition. The successful offeror will be the quoter offering the brand name item (or an approved equal) at the lowest total price (new equipment minus the trade-in credit). The quote to ship the equipment via overnight within 5 calendar days after receiving notification of purchase order award. (ix) 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications , effective 01 Jan, 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process. All prospective contractors submitting an offer in response to the subject solicitation must go to https://orca.bpn.gov/ to add or update its ORCA record.
