- The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 5,385 rentable square feet of office space in New Haven, CT, within the following delineated area: Central Business District The space should yield at least 4,678 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. The space shall be contiguous and should not be located on the first floor of the building. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. The US Government?s existing lease in New Haven is expiring and the Government is considering if it would be economically advantageous for the Government to relocate. In addition to the rental costs the Government will also factor in costs of moving to a new location including, but not limited to, physical move, tenant improvements, above-standard/specialized alterations/equipment, furniture relocation, telecommunications, and other related costs. Note that these same costs may not be factored in when evaluating whether it is most advantageous to the Government to remain in the current lease location. Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest must include at a minimum: rental quotes based on a fully-serviced lease (including all utilities and cleaning), building address, date of availability, floor size, parking arrangements and be submitted in writing to the following address within five (5) business days of the posting of this inquiry. The space must meet requirements for handicapped accessibility in accordance with Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS) and include all services and utilities. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of the space. In instances where the offeror is representing more than one property, the offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
