Description

The U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY has a requirement for a contractor to provide domestic and foreigh periodical subcriptions to support an academic curriculum leading to a 4-year baccalaureate degree. Periodical subscriptions shall cover a r ange of academic subject areas. Types of subscriptions include: academic journals, serials (including annuals), newspapers, GPO serials and periodicals, microfilm, monographic series, proceedings and continuations. Sources of periodicals required includ e commercial publisher, university presses, professional associations, European publishers, and scientific publishers. It is required that the contractor provide an electonic interface with the USMA Library Innovative Interfaces serial control module and that the contractor provide a web display list of available titles that orders can be placed against. The award will be for a base period of 1 June 2007 through 31 May 2008 with four one year option periods and will include the extension of services claus e. The solicitation will be issued on or about 2 April. The applicable NAICS is 511120 with a size standard of 500 employees. This will be an unrestricted procurement. Award will be made on a best value basis and will utilize simplified procedures as per mitted by FAR 13.5.
