- Description
- The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is conducting a market survey to seek potential sources from ALL qualified small business firms (particularly Women Owned, SBA Certified HUBZone and/or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541690 which have the capability to carry out the Users Network (UN) project. The purpose of this project is to provide support for AHRQ-funded Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems (CAHPS) grants. Provision of support includes: providing assistance to users of CAHPS surveys, reporting formats, quality improvement materials and other products; writing, editing and preparing CAHPS products for dissemination to users; providing communication support for the team of CAHPS investigators, including arranging teleconferences, preparing agendas, taking notes and maintaining the CAHPS Web site; technical and conference support for meetings; managing the National CAHPS Benchmarking Database (NCBD), including securing and editing data and preparing reports; support to AHRQ, including performance of literature searches, maintenance of the TalkingQuality.com Web site; assistance with conducting expert and stakeholder meetings; and planning and management of user meetings. Detailed information about CAHPS products and activities is available at www.cahps.ahrq.gov. Sources must have understanding and experience in consumer assessment of health care services; providing technical and conference support for meetings; understanding of survey design and implementation strategies; understanding of quality improvement processes in health care organizations; constructing and maintaining scientific databases and Web sites; developing and formatting reports tailored to diverse audiences; performing social marketing; and providing customer service. Sources must also possess, or be able to obtain (in-house or through subcontracting arrangements), the staff and other resources needed to expeditiously carry out the different types of activities listed above. Organizations should tailor their capability statements to this request and should include their small business designations (i.e. HUBZone, 8 (a), Women Owned) on the cover page.
