Description

This project consists of reconstructing Jimmy Joe Campground and associated road. The work will be performed on the road, parking spurs, living spaces, paths/trails and toilets. The project consists of clearing and grubbing, grading, excavation, furnishing and placing aggregate, placing rock barriers, furnishing and installing 2 concrete vault toilets; furnishing and installing picnic tables and fire rings, constructing living spaces and tent pads; furnishing and installing 2 gates, 1 bulleting board, and road signs; well abandonment, and drilling a new well. Project Location - The project is located in the Beartooth Mountains of the Beartooth District, Custer National Forest, in Carbon County, Montana. Jimmy Joe Campground is located in Section 11, T7S, R17E along road #2177 East Rosebud Road. The reconstruction project begins in Section 11, T7S, R17E approximately 10.2 miles up Road #2177 from State Highway 78 and ends at the exit gate to Jimmy Joe Campground. The solicitation will be available on approximately 12 June 2007 and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
