Description

Description of Work: The Estler-Bond-Deerhead Project consists of 8.4 miles of route reconstruction (Estler Lake Route No. 1055 is 5.0 miles, Deerhead Lake Route No. 7470 is 2.75 miles, Bond Lake Route No. 7471 is 0.66 miles). Items of work are: clearing and grubbing, excavation, rolling dips, borrow, side ditches, leadoff ditches, corrugated PE pipe with headwalls, rock check dams, puncheon, obliteration, equipment with operator and mobilization. The Forest Service will perform all blasting work and supply materials for blasting boulders. Project Location: Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Dillon Ranger District, Beaverhead County, State of Montana. The beginning of the Estler Lake Project, Route No. 1055 is located in the NW1/4 Section 10, T6S, R11W and is accessed by forest Road No 3984. The beginning of the Deerhead Lake Project, Route No, 7470 is located in NW1/4 Section 5, T5S, R10W and is accessed by Forest Road No. 98, the Birch Creek Road. The beginning of the Bond Lake Project, Route No. 7471 is in the SW1/4 Section 32, T4S, R10W and is accessed by the Deerhead Lake Route No. 7470. Price Range: $ 25,000 to $ 100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately 20 July 2007 and can be downloaded from this website at that time.
