- DOC/NOAA/NESDIS Acquisition Management Division intends to procure Upgrade Voice Conference Systems manufactured by Compunetix, Inc. 2420 Mosside Blvd, Monroeville, PA 151464236 by the authority FAR Subpart 6.302.1 Other Than Full and Open Competition U.S.C. 253(c)(1)Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services shall satisfy the agency requirements, Compunetix, Inc. designed and configured the Voice Conference System. Compunetix assisted in both the initial design and configuration of the systems and has remained responsible for both of its day to day operation and prior software upgrade. All packages include up to 4 hours of telephone support per month. This is being issued pursant to FAR Part 13. Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Offeror?s who believe they can meet this requirement are required to submit in writing an affirmative response. The National Industry Classification systmes (NAICS) code is 334290 and the size standard is 750. No Solicitation shall be issued. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirements. Failure to submit such documentation shall result in the Government proceeding as stated above. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Affirmative written responses must be received no later than 15 days after publication of this synopsis. Proposal submissions must be submitted to the following contact person in acquisitions.
