- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Region Acquisition Division (WRAD), is requesting proposals for the National Marine Fisheries Service's (NMFS) Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC), for the construction of a dewatering well. Work to be performed will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for excavation of an approximate 10-12 foot diameter 45-foot deep dewatering well and the drilling and placement of multiple levels of hydroaugers (approximately 3,000 feet of 2? diameter perforated schedule 80 PVC) installed radially outward from the dewatering well in the upper bluff located westerly of the NOAA Fisheries Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, CA. Project completion time is estimated to be 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. Work is contingent upon receipt of permitting approvals. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990 and the small business size standard is $31 Million. Estimated cost is between $250,000-$500,000. A Request for Proposal solicitation package, including the plans and specifications will be available on or about July 13, 2007, for downloading at the Government's website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION] and [REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR] features which provides a notification when the RFP becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation, thereafter. Any further announcements regarding this solicitation will be posted only at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The ESTIMATED response due date is August 12, 2007; however, the actual due date of offers may be adjusted based upon the actual posting date of the solicitation and the information will be stated within the solicitation documents. This procurement requires offerors to complete the On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/.
