- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Detention and Removal Operations (DRO), intends to pursue a sole source logical follow-on contract with FLYTECOMM, 1043 North Shoreline Blvd, Suite 201, Mountain View, CA 94043. DRO has a requirement for real-time situational awareness capabilities to facilitate surface tracking (i.e. motor vehicles) and the status of DRO of detention and removal operations facilities (e.g. number of detainees and available bed space). This Surface and Facilities Tracking System is intended to supplement and extend the current aviation centric real-time law enforcement situational awareness capabilities that are delivered to the agency via the FLYTECOMM Travel Advisory System (TAS). The proposed enhancements must be capable of full integration with TAS. The fully integrated system enhancements must also be accessible via the public network to facilitate DRO law enforcement operations. To that end, the system platform must have an established track record of portable, yet secure access with an execution history that has been reviewed by accredited third parties to meet or exceed published information assurance and security standards set forth by NIST. FLYTECOMM?s TAS meets these requirements.
