- The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has opportunities available for panel physicians in Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana, Monterrey and Mexico City. Panel physicians conduct medical clearance examinations for immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants. Fees for these services are charged to the applicant, not to the US Government. Requirements are: License to practice medicine in Mexico, professional fluency in English, experience diagnosing tuberculosis, at least four years of experience in the medical field, and the ability to perform (in physician's own clinic/medical facility) up to 25,000-35,000 detailed physical examinations per year in Ciudad Juarez, and up to 2,000 examinations per year in the other cities mentioned.
