Description
Seeking sources from interested Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) or 8(a) companies. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NAICS Code 236220, size standard $31.0 applies. The lightning protection contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to correct all lightning protection deficiencies for Bldg 1, WTS and all campus outbuildings and provide a master UL lightning protection certificate and label, which shall be attached to Bldg 1, WTS (with appropriate documentation) for all WTS campus buildings at the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC, located at 1481 W. Tenth Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. A site walk-through will be required by the lightning protection contractor in order to determine the areas where lightning protection components will need to be replaced and where additional components may be needed in order to acquire the master UL lightning protection certificate and label. A site walk-through will be required by the roofing contractor in order to determine the areas where roofing patchwork is required. A roofing contractor will be required to provide and install all wear pads, stripping, heat welded strips, pavers or battens. All lightning protection work shall meet compliance with UL 96A and LPI 175 lightning protection codes. Once all work has been completed, the lightning protection contractor will be required to provide marked up as-built drawings showing where all replacement work and additional work was accomplished. The contract completion time frame is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Interested contractors should express interest in writing including company status (i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a)).
