- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for a New Research Facility, Project Number 650-305, at the VA Medical Center, Providence, RI (Providence County). This solicitation is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The scope of this project includes renovation of existing Building 32 and a New Addition to Building 32, as well as surrounding site and parking lot work. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of existing structures, general construction, grading, drainage, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, laboratory and medical vacuum equipment, utility systems, excavations and construction of roads and walkways, including sub-surface drainage, paving, curbing, sidewalk, site lighting, pavement markings and signage and other related work required by the solicitation, specifications, and drawings. The estimated construction range is between $5 million and $10 million. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $31 million. Solicitation Number VA-241-07-IB-0079 is assigned to this solicitation and shall be referenced on all correspondence relating to this announcement and subsequent solicitation package. A pre-bid conference/site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at 10:00 am. The location for this conference will be identified in the solicitation. The issue date is on or about July 13, 2007. The bid opening date is scheduled for August 14, 2007 at 11:00 am. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
