- W911W4-07-R-0010 Counterintelligence Badges Amendment III as at 28 June 2007 The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following question concerning the Visual Anti-Counterfeit Technology requirement - Item 6 in the section 1.1 Badge Design references this modification, Embedded into the face of the badge, uniquely designed , visual, anti-counterfeit technology. Question 4: I am interested to learn what anticounterfeit technology is currently being used. Some of the technology available is very expensive. Answer 4: Currently there is no anti-counterfeit technology on our badges - the only requirement I can state is that it needs to be seen on the face of the badge from a normal meeting distance of about 3-4 feet, and be made so that if another company attem pted to counterfeit it, it would cause that company to expend significant resources (time and money) to produce a counterfeit replica of our new badge. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
