- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to FD Neurotechnologies Inc. 6400 Baltimore National Pike Catonsville, MD on a sole source basis, for the service of Immunohistochemical staining techniques on rat brain tissue. These services require expertise in the use of specific antibodies that target activated glial cells and apoptosis. This is for the continuation of a current ongoing research project. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other source would result in substantial delays and disruption of a project already in progress and would increase the overall cost to the Government. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W74MYF7095N590-597 & W74MYF7131N659. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for a competitive quote. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing e vidence that another source is capable of meeting the Governments requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this r esponse, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
