ALL FURNITURE SUBMITTED FOR THIS BID MUST BE GREENGUARD CERTIFIED. ALL FURNITURE SUBMITTED FOR THIS BID MUST MEET OR EXCEED THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: 1. LIBRARY FURNITURE A. STEEL CANTILEVER SHELVING: FRAME - To consist of column with welded toot joined together with horizontal supports. Column to be 1-3/16" wide x 2-1/2" deep 16-gauge steel tube in heights of 42",60", 72", 84" or 90". Columns to have one row of slots on 1" centers with indent marks for aligning shelves. Tabs on shelf brackets to hook into column slots. Columns shall be spaced 35-1/2" on center with horizontal supports at top and bottom. Shelving shall be 36"wide. Foot to be 14-gauge steel tube 1-3/16" wide x 2" high x 13-1/2" deep single face or 24-1/2"deep double face. Horizontal supports to be 18-gauge steel tube 3/4"deep x 1-3/4" high x 34" wide. Columns 72" and taller will have 3 horizontal supports. Horizontal supports are attached with two connectors at each end. ADJUSTABLE SHELVES: All shelves shall adjust in height in 1" increments. Shelf capacity to be at least 40 pounds per linear foot. Shelf brackets will be 14-gauge steel 6" high x 9" or 11" deep. Stamped steel brackets to have integral tabs to hook into column slots. Shelf brackets to be coined for round smooth edges. Shelves to be constructed of 18-gauge steel. Standard shelves to have 1" 'C' shaped flange on front and 2" return at rear. Flat shelf with 2" backstop to be 11" actual depth. Shelf to accept hook on solid book support. WOOD LAMINATE EXTERIOR: Tops and end panels shall have wood grain high pressure laminate surface finish on both sides of core 3mm wood grain edge. B. LIBRARY TABLES: Must provide at least 10" height adjustment, from 24" x 34" high, to accommodate [Tom lower grades to ADA. Load capacity to be at least 200 pounds. WORK SURFACE: 1. 1-1/4" thick HPL with radius comers. 2. 45 lb. High density particle board core with backer sheet. FRAME: 1. 1" x 2" 14 gauge steel tube cross supports welded to II-gauge steel mounting plate and 1-1/4" square 12 gauge steel legs. 2. Center support channel of 2" x 3" 14 gauge steel. 3. 30" and 36" deep models have one support channel. 4. 42" and 48" models to have 2 such channels. C. LIBRARY SEATING: 1. 16-gauge steel tubes with powder coat frame. 2. Back brace constructed of 14 gauge steel, MIG welded for strength. 3. Solid plastic seat and back is smooth and easily cleaned, and meets California fire code CAL TB 13 3. II. CLASSROOM DESKS & TABLES. A. HUSKY Activity Tables: MATERIAL: Upper leg is 17-gauge 1-3/4" diameter steel tubes, protected with powder coat finish that matches the color of the nylon cap. Choose from 5 colors. The 1/4" 'V' support brace is welded to the top leg and 16-gauge mounting plate, which adds stability and strength. Chrome-plated lower leg is made of 13-gauge 1-1/2" diameter tube to resist scuffing and is complimented by a durable nylon cap matching the powder coat finish. Telescoping tube leg adjusts in 1" increments. The glide is a sock type that slides over outside of leg. This glide is made of a glass-filled nylon that assures durability, and resists rust, stains and scratches. WORK SURFACE: - See specifications, section B. B. The following desk & table specifications apply to each of the following series: 1. 3-2-1 STUDENT DESKS. 2. INTERCHANGE DIAMOND DESKS. 3. INTERCHANGE STUDENT DESKS. 4. ROUNDABOUT DESKS. 5. BOARDROOM TABLES. The new student friendly leg design eliminates leg braces which can cause pinched fingers. The design is installer friendly too, thanks to EOB mounting bracket that requires only two screws per leg for secure attachment. LEGS: Upper leg shall be made of 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" 14-gauge oval steel tubing which is protected with durable powder coat finish that matches color of nylon cap. Steel V brace welded to top leg and mounting plate adds stability and strength. Easy-on brackets are mounted to the desktop for easy assembly; requiring only two screws per leg for secure assembly. Chrome-plated lower leg to be made of 1-7/16" x 2-7/16" 14-gauge steel to resist scuffing, while nylon sock-style glide cap adds protection. Unique telescoping oval tube leg to adjust in 1" increments, and to include a 1" adjustable leveling glide with locking stop to provide stability on uneven floors. Glide to attach to a swivel point to add structure and flexibility. WORK SURFACE: The 1-1/4" thick work surface to consist of a 45 lb. high density core with a 0.030" high pressure laminate surface and a 0.020" backer sheet for balance. The edge to have a 3/8" thick bumper edge molding mechanically fastened every 6-8". Tops to have easy-on brackets for quick assembly of leg sets. C. COMPUTER TABLE SPECIFICATIONS: Computer tables in first and second grade classrooms, computer lab and library, shall meet or exceed the following specifications for the stations: WORK SURFACE: See preceding section A for work surface specifications. In addition, the station tops are pre-drilled for ease of installation. Work surface to have a curved cutaway at rear for cord access to wire management tray. No holes through work surface with grommets. FRAME/LEGS : Frame to attach to pre-drilled holes in the top with 12, screws through 14 gauge steel mounting plate. Mounting plate is welded to a 16-gauge steel tube Y-leg. Legs to adjust in height from 22"- 30" high in 1" increments. Both right and left leg to include back pack peg, which allows for inside or outside positioning. III. MISCELLANEOUS - EVERYTHING CARTS; QUICK CARRELS. A. EVERYTHING CARTS - Include two shelves, each with six bins; 18"d x 36"w x 36"h. 4" dual whell casters with soft tread for quiet smooth rolling operation. I8-gauge welded steel construction. Baked on powdercoat finish to provide lasting color. Must be available in Red, Purple, Yellow, Navy, Mint Green, Forest Green, Blueberry, and Clementine. B. QUICK CARRELS (L-Shaped) - Must have overall dimensions of 24"d x 36"w x 48"h. Short side of L to be clad in porcelain steel dry erase, (both sides) and long side to be tackable cork board on both sides. Carrels roll on 4" diameter, dual-wheel locking casters, and can nest for compact storage when not in use. Items are to be delivered to BIA-OFMC-Equipment & Distribution Center, 1600 12th St NW, Albuqeurque, NM 87104. The provisions 52.212-1 and 52.212-3 apply to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition and the following additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are applicable: (5) 52.219-6, (14) 52.222-3, (15) 52.222-19, (17) 52.222-26, (23) 52.225-1, and (31) 52.232-33. The following clauses are incorporated by reference: 1) 1452.226-70, Indian Preference; 2) 52.212-4; and 3) 52.213-02. Offerors shall submit a completed copy of the provision of 52.212-3 with its offer. A copy can be obtained at www.arnet.gov. Evaluation procedures: The Government shall award a firm-fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
