- This requirement is in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for proposal is N00253-07-R-0038. The NUWC Keyport has a requirement for the following non-commercial items: EOR Balloon Assembly, Drawing 5758320 REV F and all associated drawings, and specifications in accordance with NAVSEA drawings and detailed specifications*. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: (1) First Article, CLIN 0002: Production of (39) units. The first article, unless waived, will be delivered 90 days after contract award. If the first articles are waived, CLIN 0002 will be delivered 90 days after contract award unless offeror proposes, and Government accepts a different delivery. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 315299 and the procurement will be a 100% small business set aside and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Inspectio n will be at destination and acceptance will be at destination. A period of 30 days will be required for acceptance. The solicitation will be available for download on or around 16 July 2007. Contractors shall ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no paper copies of these RFP/amendments will be mailed. The RFP (request for proposal) will be posted electronically on the NECO and FED BIZ OPPS websites. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to yourkoskimj@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the websites. RFP (solicitation package) is posted on the Navy Electronic Commerc e Online (NECO) web link at www.neco.navy.mil and is also available fo r download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
