- This requirement is in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for proposal is N00253-07-R-0037. The NUWC Keyport has a requirement for the following non-commercial items: Reels Towed Cable, IAW Drawing 2819854-1,-2,-3 REV H and all associated drawings and specifications, in accordance with NAVSEA drawings and detailed specifications*. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: (20) sets of (3) First Articles, CLIN 0002: (4) sets of (3) First Articles, CLIN 003: Production of (376) sets (of -1, -2, -3). Offerors can only bid on CLIN 002 if they have previously provided this item. The first article will be delivered 90 days after contract award unless the Government accepts a different delivery. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 326199 and the procurement will be a 100% small business set aside and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Inspection will be at destination and acceptance will be at destination. A period of 30 days will be required for acceptance. The solicitation will be available for download on or around 16 July 2007. Contractors shall ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no paper copies of these RFP/amendments will be mailed. The RFP (request for proposal) will be posted electronically on the NECO and FED BIZ OPPS websites. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to yourkoskimj@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the websites. RFP (solicitation package) is post ed on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at www.neco. navy.mil and is also available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
