- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A SEPERATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-07-T-0630 and is attached to this notice. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-17 and DFARS Change Notice 20070531. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 812332 and the S mall Business Standard is $13 Million. The government intends to acquire on a competitive basis the following: Line Item 0001: Laundry Services for shop towels, shop coats and other essential items for shops daily work for Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA 93245, in accordance with the RFQ (four pages) attached to this notice. ALL OFFERORS MUST COMPLETE THE UNIT PRICES ON PAGE THREE OF THE ATTACHMENT. The period of performance is one year starting on 1 Oct 2007. The required services are commercial items as defined in FAR 2.101. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Seal Beach requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing laundry services to Lemoore, CA. All efforts performed and all cost expended by prospective offerors in providing information requested by the solicitation are not subject to reimbursement by the Government. The following provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation of commercial Items: Aw ard Criteria: Award will be made upon price reasonableness determinati on, contractor determined responsible within the meaning of FAR part 9 and acceptance to the provisions set forth herein. 52.212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible Offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and price related factors. The Government intends to award the contract to the eligible, low-priced, responsible offeror. All responsible Offerors are to submit current pricing, delivery time, payment terms, cage code, Dunn and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification Number and all applicable specifications regarding this solicitation. Provide copies of applicable commercially published price lists pertaining to your company?s products that meet the specifications, along with applicable government discounts. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
